The following list is a collection of errata I found as I read the book.

- p 8, line 9: "Exercise 6" should be "Example 6".
- p 8, line 10: "Exercise 7" should be "Example 7".
- p 11, line 13: In Exercise 12 "big-0" should be "big-O".
- p 15, line -7: In Exercise 3(b) "two divisors 6, 15" should be "two divisors 5, 15".
- p 26, line 8: In Exercise 17 "all $m$ from" should be "all $n$ from". (caught by M. N.)

- p 74, line 9: "than" should be "that".

- p 88, line 3: "vesus" should be "versus".
Chapter V
- p 130, line -4: "we reach $b^{2^{r+1}}$" should be "we reach $b^{2^{r+1}t}$".
- p 130, line -3: "$b^{2^{r}}$" should be "$b^{2^{r}t}$".

- p 168, line 18: In Remark 1 "an ellipse" probably should be "an elliptic curve".
- p 170, line 6: "there are the two" should be "there are two".
- p 179, line -8: "$\sum_{i=1}^{r-1} a_j X^j$" should be "$\sum_{i=1}^{r-1} a_i X^i".
